Subscription webcams
If you enjoy viewing our Columbia Valley webcams, we’ve got an opportunity you won’t want to pass up!
Three of our cameras are capable of producing much larger, higher resolution images than what you currently can view. The Lakeside Pub and both downtown cameras can display 3 megapixel, 1024×768 images.
While our standard webcam display system is based on having ad sponsors around the webcam image itself with a visible area of only 640×480 pixels, we wanted to provide a premium service for those serious webcam enthusiasts who want more.
So, we now present to you – full size webcam images with no ads! Visit the demo page to see examples of the high quality images you can now view for a small fee. demo
Why are we charging a fee for this new service?
Well, the simple fact is that it costs us more money to produce higher quality images. The cameras cost more and the larger image size consumes more precious bandwidth. We figure that even if only a few people were to want this new service, we’d be able to generate enough additional revenue to upgrade our other cameras to include them in this package. We could also begin to reserve funds to purchase additional cameras for other locations.
